Jenny Peters has covered Hollywood as a freelance journalist since 1989. Her credits include writing movie-centric feature stories and film reviews, as well as articles on home entertainment, celebrities and Hollywood parties, for outlets including Variety, Gayot.com, OMG! Yahoo, Box Magazine, the Los Angeles Daily News, Scholastic, Coverstory, Cosmopolitan, Fashion Wire Daily, Mademoiselle, Wizard, Angeleno, Los Angeles Confidential, Animation Magazine, Hollywood.com and many other domestic and international publications, websites and wire services. She was the Editor in Chief of Brentwood magazine (the Southern California luxury lifestyle magazine) for three years, and held the same post for Scene Magazine for five. Before she became a full-time writer, Peters was a manuscript editor at Random House Trade Publishing, working with authors ranging from Woody Allen and Gloria Swanson to Carl Sagan. She is a founding and voting member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, who present the Critics' Choice Movie Awards every January.
