BIG STONE GAP, THE FORBIDDEN ROOM, STEVE JOBS and Other Oct 9 Openers – Reviews by Jennifer Merin
Big Stone Gap, Adriana Tigliani’s first feature based on her semi-autobiographical novel, is a feel good rom com with Ashley Judd headlining a terrific ensemble cast. Steve Jobs stars Michael Fassbender in a revealing biopic about the billionaire entrepreneur who made a seismic change in the way humans think and communicate. Reversion, a thriller about memory control, isn’t exactly memorable. Knock Knock is a role reversal movie in which Keanu Reeves plays a family man who’s trapped in his home by two sex-crazed women.
