WEEK IN WOMEN: Thompson, Burstyn, Wise to co-star in LOST GIRLS – Brandy McDonnell reports
Oscar winners Ellen Burstyn and Emma Thompson, along with Thompson’s daughter Gaia Wise, are set to co-star in the film adaptation of The Lost Girls, a femme-focused coming-of-age spin-off on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of Peter Pan.
Livia De Paolis, who wrote, directed and starred in the 2014 low-budget feature Emoticon 😉, will do the same on The Lost Girls, the 2003 novel by Laurie Fox that follows multiple generations of Darling women who have life-changing encounters with The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up.
