WEEK IN WOMEN: Kelly Campbell Heads NBCUni’s Peacock Streamer – Brandy McDonnell reports

NBCUniversal has named Kelly Campbell the president of its Peacock streaming service.

This month, she joins the leadership team under Matt Strauss, NBCUniversal’s direct-to-consumer and international chairman, to whom she will report, according to a news release.

Campbell will be responsible for Peacock’s streaming business and work closely with leadership across NBCUniversal television, film, news and sports on Peacock live and original programming. She will be based in the Los Angeles area.

Campbell was previously president of Disney’s Hulu, where she led the streamer’s live and on-demand businesses. She joined Hulu in 2017 as chief marketing officer and she played a key role in accelerating the service’s growth and momentum. Continue reading on THE WEEK IN WOMEN

Brandy McDonnell

Raised on a farm near Lindsay, Okla., she started her journalism career in seventh grade, when she was elected reporter for her school's 4-H Club. In 2004, she won a prestigious Journalism Fellowship in Child & Family Policy from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
