WEEK IN WOMEN: Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut BLINK TWICE in theaters this summer — Brandy McDonnell reports
The Batman actor Zoë Kravitz’s feature directorial debut, Blink Twice, will be released globally in theaters on August 23, 2024. The suspense thriller, formerly titled Pussy Island, is being released by Amazon MGM Studios, according to Deadline.
Along with helming the film, Kravitz penned the script with E.T. Feigenbaum, one of the writers of the 2020 Hulu series High Fidelity, which Kravitz wrote on, starred in and executive produced.
Blink Twice stars Channing Tatum, Kravitz’s fiancé, as tech billionaire Slater King, who meets a cocktail waitress named Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala. When sparks fly, he invites her to join him and his friends on a fantasy vacation on his private island. Although the trip starts out as a party paradise, bizarre things begin happening, and Frida will have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out alive. Continue reading on THE WEEK IN WOMEN
