A Regular Woman dramatizes the story of a 23-year-old Turkish woman shot to death by her brother in an ‘honor killing’ in 2005. The film feels true to life because it is taken from real life. It gives Hatun Aynur Sürücü back the voice that was so brutally taken from her. She deserves to be heard.
