WEEK IN WOMEN: Auli’i Cravalho set for ABC’s live LITTLE MERMAID – Brandy McDonnell reports
Before Disney films its live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, ABC will air a live musical production starring Moana actress Auli’i Cravalho as the iconic Princess Ariel. The production, which will air on Nov. 5, will co-star Queen Latifah as Ursula and Shaggy as Sebastian. The broadcast will include music from the original two-time Oscar-winning animated film as well as the Tony Award-winning Broadway show.
