Despite its titillating title, DTF St. Louis is not as cringy as it may seem, but yes, frank sexuality is a major part of the HBO limited series. Writer-director Steve Conrad’s aim is to explore what repressed desires and temptation lead to in a typical Midwest suburb – the holy trinity of modern crime dramas: betrayal, double-crosses, and secrets. And a healthy dose of awkwardness. As he probes middle-age malaise in an offbeat, but familiar way, Conrad’s seven-episode arc centers on an unusual murder mystery.

A small billy goat who has dreams of being the greatest of all time…in roarball – a high intensity, co-ed basketball league played by the most aggressive animals in the world. When a viral video of his skills surprisingly earns him a spot on his struggling hometown team, Will must now convince his squad that size doesn’t matter. GOAT is Rocky meets Space Jam. An inspirational tale about an underdog…err…goat…who just wants to be part of the herd. The PG animated sports comedy emphasizes perseverance, teamwork and trust.

Violent Night is Die Hard meets Home Alone. Our favorite Christmas flicks are mashed up in a night of mayhem with a less than sober Santa slaying the day. Parents, don’t let your kids sit on this Santa’s lap, but if you’re in the mood to get your own tinsel in a tassel, Violent Night gets a 7. It may be a new holiday tradition!
