Chloé Robichaud talks DAYS OF HAPPINESS (TIFF 2023) – Tara Karajica interviews

After Sarah Prefers to Run (2013) and Pays (2016), Canadian director Chloé Robichaud’s latest feature film, Days of Happiness, follows a young orchestra director as she faces a crossroads in her life and career, trying to navigate the toxic relationship with her father – who is also her manager – and a budding romance with violoncellist Naëlle. The inspiration for Days of Happiness came to Robichaud seven years ago. The idea of a young female conductor on a podium on the screen fascinated her.
