The film has a thing or two to say about the pointless and tragic violence that continues around the world in the name of religion. There are elements that make it particularly timely, as it relates to heads of government manipulating or flouting laws for their own benefit. For lovers of martial arts and post-apocalyptic fare, as well as for folks looking for a “something old, something new, something borrowed” on the screen, Absolute Dominion fits the bill.
