PLANE – Review by T.J. Callahan

Plane is a good old fashioned 1970/80’s style disaster flick…short on cents and sense, but there’s a big budget for bullets to bombard the bad guys with. Those island rebels got blowed up real good, hence the R rating. Plane is meant to be seen in a theater, preferably a full one, for a first class seat to mayhem. Otherwise it’s just a plain old plane movie.

ANGEL HAS FALLEN – Brandy McDonnell reviews

The screenplay by Robert Mark Kamen, Matt Cook and director Ric Roman Waugh telegraphs every plot point so obviously that even a schoolchild will know whodunnit and why – not that any child should see this movie since Waugh’s leans into the R rating, violently racking up a stunning body count.

HUNTER KILLER – Review by Brandy McDonnell

It may not be as useless as a screen door on a submarine, but “Hunter Killer” doesn’t come close to threatening “The Hunt for Red October’s” status as the stuffed-bear prize-holder for top sub thriller, either. South African director Donovan Marsh isn’t the steadiest at the helm with this latest entry into the submerged subgenre of military dramas, but he and his stalwart cast manage to make an engaging if ultimately forgettable undersea adventure.
