Look beyond the glitzy gowns and golden statuettes at the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards (Sunday, September 20), and you’ll see a tarnished record when it comes to the number of nominations for women creatives over the past decade. In the 44 categories of awards given for writing, directing, producing and editing, only 2,074 nominees were women, compared to 7,485 who were men. That’s 22 percent. Not enough.
