Love Hurts

The paychecks must have been massive. Too many zeroes to resist. Nothing else quite explains what Oscar winners Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose are doing in a movie as devoid of entertainment value as Love Hurts. It is only February but it seems that we can already call the stupidest movie of 2025. At least it’s short, but those are going to be among the longest 83 minutes of your life.

In his first major leading role, Ky Huy Quan bares his knuckles and pulls plenty of punches as a Jackie Chan style martial arts madman in disguise who’s out to protect his Rose and his new livelihood. Are you Karate Kidding me?
