DEATH OF ME – Review by Susan Granger

Occasionally, there’s a movie that so dumb and dull that one wonder how and why it ever got made. Writers Arli Margolis, James Morley III and David Tish patch together a murky, improbable horror/thriller – with obvious cult allusions to The Wicker Man and Midsommer. But the action is lethargically directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, credited with three installments of the Saw franchise.

“It will be waiting for you on the other side.” An ominous beginning to a film that will stress you out to no end. Something is clearly amiss as our lovely couple wakes up late to find they and their island hotel room are covered in dirt, among other things. Missing passports and stolen luggage leave them stranded, trying to figure out what happened the night before.
