AWFJ EDA Awards @ Whistler Film Festival 2023 – Jennifer Merin reports

The Alliance of Women Film Journalists and Whistler Film Festival are proud to announce the winners of the AWFJ EDA Awards for Best Female-Directed Feature and Best Female-Directed Short at Whistler Film Festival 2023. The winners were announced at the Whistler Film Festival awards ceremony on Sunday, December 3, 2023. This is the eleventh consecutive year of the partnership between AWFJ and WFF to recognize and honor the work of female filmmakers. WFF nominated four narrative films and six short films for consideration by AWFJ’s member jurors.

AWFJ Welcomes New Members for 2023 – Jennifer Merin reports

The Alliance of Women Film Journalists is delighted and honored to welcome eight outstanding female film journalists as new members, starting in January 2023.
