As the fourth installment in The Trip series, The Trip to Greece is a weird and worthy excursion. Like the first three, A Trip to Greece dandles fiction and non-fiction, improvisation and storytelling. You have to really like the bantering boys, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

Opening Aug. 15, AWFJ’s Movie of the Week is The Trip to Italy, the mostly improvised follow up to Michael Winterbottom’s 2010 film, The Trip. Comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reprise their hilarious, semi-fictional depictions of themselves in another gastronomic tour of Europe. This time the longtime friends are retracing the steps of the Romantic poets’ grand tour of Italy. The mouth-watering meals are outdone only by the spectacular vistas of Italy.
