WEEK IN WOMEN: Nancy Meyers is making a new film for Netflix – Brandy McDonnell reports

Academy Award nominee Nancy Meyers is writing, directing and producing a new feature film for Netflix.

An Oscar nominee for the screenplay for 1980’s “Private Benjamin,” Meyers is a multi-hyphenate with a long list of hits: She wrote, directed and produced 1998’s “The Parent Trap,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “The Holiday,” “It’s Complicated” and 2015’s “The Intern,” her last feature film.

Meyers also is the writer and producer of Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride Part II as well as the director of What Women Want.

Meyers and Netflix previously partnered in 2020 to release the short film Father of the Bride Part 3 (ish). Continue resding on THE WEEK IN WOMEN.
